The Playmakers are a progressive amateur theatrical group who are active in the Surrey/Hampshire border area. Productions are staged at the Mytchett Centre where we rehearse on Monday evenings at 8:00pm. Our major activities are Drama, Comedy, Farce and Music Hall type productions. We also produce an annual pantomime. Playmakers support local charities, a specific charity is chosen each year and fund raising is actively carried out throughout the year. Details of charities that have been supported and the chosen charity for the current year are publicised in the pantomime programme and can be found by visiting our links page. New members aged at least sixteen years old are always welcome. If you have ever wanted to have a go at anything to do with the stage, then either contact us via the contact page or come along to one of the Monday meetings, you will be made very welcome. If you are under sixteen you cannot be a member. However, you may still be able to perform with us. Ask you parent or guardian to get in touch with us via the website. Social events are arranged by the members throughout the year.
